MEET TYLA

Hey, I’m Tyla — a licensed massage therapist and trainer who’s all about helping people move and feel better. I’ve had the pleasure of working with some of the top athletes in the world, and my mission is to bring that same level of care to every person I work with. I’m obsessed with staying up to date on the latest research and techniques so my clients always get the most effective, evidence-based treatment possible.

MY STORY

I knew there had to be a better way. So I took a different route, went to massage school back in 2014, and never looked back.

I’ve always been fascinated by the human body and how it moves. Over the years, I started to notice how the standard of care in insurance-based models was dwindling — short appointments, surface-level treatments, and barely any time to really listen. I knew there had to be a better way. So I took a different route, went to massage school back in 2014, and never looked back. That’s when I started leaning into cash-based care: more time with each person, more personalized treatment, and actual results.

That path led me to Europe, where I worked for five years as a licensed massage therapist. In 2020, I made the move to Dallas and started coaching at a few boutique fitness gyms. Eventually, I found my way back to hands-on work and became a manual therapist at a sports performance center — which gave me the incredible opportunity to work with all levels of athletes, but specifically NFL and NBA Combine athletes, as well as NFL players during their off-seasons.

My deep dive into the nervous system started with my mom, who has multiple sclerosis. Learning how to help her sparked a lifelong obsession with understanding how the brain and body work together — and how we can actually retrain them to move and feel better. That passion led me to get certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage through Dr. Vodder’s School — one of the most respected lymphatic therapy programs out there.

Outside the treatment room, I’m probably planning my next trip, spending time with my husband Jacob, or hanging out with our two pups, Indie and Ozzy. I’m constantly learning, always experimenting, and fully committed to helping people feel at home in their bodies again.
